Finisher/Nursery Herd Technician
About The Position
SUMMARY: Assists in routine animal care and general farm tasks to ensure the welfare/well being of the animals. Tasks include farm sanitation, animal removal, and animal movement. Performs duties including, but not limited to, monitoring house/room environment, care and feeding of animals, watering animals, disposing of dead animals, farm sanitation, animal health and well being, safety and housekeeping, animal movement, animal science and husbandry, and all associated paperwork.
Requirements
- Must have a valid and acceptable NC Drivers Licenses.
- Ability to lift, push, pull greater than 50 lbs.
- Ability to read and write.
- Excellent communication skills
