About The Position

Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell, & Berkowitz PC has an immediate opening for an IT Financial Systems Administrator. This position may be based at any office within the Firm’s footprint. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Support Business Services in financial systems processes, procedures, and policies. Design, development and maintenance of the Firm's financial systems and databases including workflows. Support users' access requirements and problem resolution. Install and test new financial systems and applications. Ensure storage, patching, archiving, backup and recovery procedures are functioning correctly. Work closely with IT project managers, engineers, support staff, and developers to optimize Firm's financial systems. Communicate regularly with technical, applications, and operational staff, to ensure financial systems integrity and security. Maintain detailed working knowledge of the firm's financial systems. Serve as subject matter expert for financial system reporting. Develop and maintain Firm specific financial and management applications and reports. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Subject matter expertise of Aderant core legacy and framework systems, Aderant cloud applications like iTimekeep, Cloud Conflicts, Bill Blast, 3 rd party applications integrated in Aderant like ARCS and PreBill Viewer, and other systems as directed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server Architecture, including databases, tables, indexes, stored procedures, functions and triggers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with both technical and business teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex problems with financial data.
  • A.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Five (5) years financial systems support experience in a multi-vendor environment.
  • Must provide minimum authorization to work in the United States.
