About The Position

Leonardo DRS Land Systems is seeking a full time Financial Reporting Analyst I. This position is based out of our Bridgeton, MO facility but has the option to be a hybrid schedule or a remote worker. The Financial Reporting Analyst I will perform a variety of administrative financial tasks in support of the travel department, staff managers, and employees. This position will be responsible for making travel arrangements for employees and the organization and creation of travel expense reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or an equivalent combination of education/training and experience

  • Experience in booking travel or creating expense reports a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist employees with travel arrangements and expense report processing and/or auditing expense reports
  • Review, classify, examine and analyze data and records of financial transactions
  • Maintain and update financial databases and spreadsheets, and generate financial reports as required
  • Maintain appropriate records and documentation
  • Identify and resolve routine problems as well as to prevent future problems
  • May respond to rate and budget questions and provide explanations to ensure management understanding
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as DAR, FAR, and other government regulations
  • May interface with government auditors and provide audit support to ensure government understanding of financial data, methodology and applicability under appropriate government regulations
  • Assist in performing internal audits
  • May participate in team efforts to improve functioning of the department
  • Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
