About The Position

The Manager of Finance provides comprehensive financial oversight, planning, treasury coordination, compliance support, and performance analytics for an assigned portfolio of Pacific Retirement Services (PRS), PRS affiliates and managed companies. This role serves as a primary financial partner to Executive Directors and community leadership, supporting budgeting, forecasting, liquidity monitoring, debt and capital oversight, regulatory reporting, and operational performance analysis. Reporting to the Director of Financial Planning & Systems, this position leads assigned financial analysts and executes within enterprise governance standards for financial planning, treasury analytics, capital oversight, and finance systems. The Manager translates financial data into clear, actionable insights that support operational and executive decision-making across regulated senior living, healthcare, and housing environments. You will ensure financial information is analyzed and reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), internal controls, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • Five (5) years of progressive experience in finance, FP&A, treasury analytics, or related areas. Prior supervisory experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, budgeting, financial modeling, and regulated reporting environments.
  • Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional leadership abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Workday Financials and/or Adaptive Planning is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Champion PRS culture by ingraining the Mission, Vision, and Core Values into all aspects of your role while supporting long‑range planning and strategic initiatives under Director governance.
  • Lead budgeting, reforecasting, and financial planning for assigned communities, including pro formas, sensitivity models, business case analyses, and maintenance of key financial assumptions.
  • Coordinate treasury, liquidity, and capital support by preparing cash forecasts, monitoring liquidity trends, maintaining debt schedules, supporting covenant compliance, capital budgets, audits, and regulatory reporting.
  • Execute finance systems and analytics workflows within Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning, strengthening system‑based analytics, supporting enhancements, and reducing reliance on manual spreadsheets.
  • Provide community financial leadership and people management by serving as the primary liaison to Executive Directors, leading financial reviews, supervising Financial Analysts, enforcing documentation and internal controls, and identifying financial risks and performance improvement opportunities.
