As the Manager of FP&A, you will play a key role in supporting cross-functional planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis to improve results and drive business performance. This is a highly visible, hands-on role that partners closely with both corporate leadership and operational teams within a manufacturing environment. The role is designed for a finance professional who not only analyzes financial results but also builds scalable reporting solutions and data infrastructure that improve how the business consumes and acts on financial information. This role can be located at any of our US based locations which include: Irvine, CA, Anaheim, CA, Orange, CA, Hollister, CA, Santa Clara, CA, Aurora, CO, Schaumberg, IL.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
  • 5–7 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency and experience working with large datasets.
  • Experience with financial planning and reporting systems (Adaptive or similar preferred).
  • Experience with business intelligence tools, Power BI preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Power Query and data transformation concepts.
  • Basic SQL querying ability, including joins, aggregations, and validation.
  • Ability to design structured, scalable reporting solutions rather than relying on manual analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting manufacturing or operational environments strongly preferred.
  • MBA, CPA, CMA, CFA, or similar professional designation is a plus.
  • Experience working with ERP or manufacturing systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, sales, and corporate departments to support financial planning and analysis activities aligned with company objectives.
  • Develop and maintain KPI tracking to measure performance, identify trends, and highlight risks and opportunities.
  • Prepare analysis and summarize insights from financial reporting to support business unit leaders and executive decision-making.
  • Assist in preparation of financial reporting and analysis packages for senior leadership and the board of directors.
  • Support the annual planning process and rolling forecasts, including data collection, consolidation, and variance analysis.
  • Maintain scalable FP&A processes and reporting tools as the business grows organically and through acquisitions.
  • Support financial integration of acquisitions into existing processes, reporting, and systems.
  • Build and maintain automated reporting and dashboards using BI and data tools to improve reporting speed, accuracy, and accessibility.
  • Extract, transform, and structure financial and operational data from ERP and other source systems to support scalable reporting and analysis.
  • Develop repeatable reporting solutions using Power BI, Power Query, or similar tools.
  • Write and maintain SQL queries to retrieve, validate, and structure financial and operational datasets.
  • Build scalable data models supporting forecasting, variance analysis, and KPI reporting.
  • Partner with IT and system owners to improve data quality, structure, reliability, and accessibility.
  • Identify opportunities to replace manual processes with automated reporting and data pipelines.
  • Perform manufacturing and operational analysis including volume, absorption, cost, margin, and productivity performance.
  • Support treasury activities including cash forecasting, debt tracking, and compliance reporting.
  • Contribute analytical insight to improve operational efficiency and financial performance.
  • Support leadership initiatives through financial analysis and reporting.
  • Demonstrate ownership of deliverables and follow through on commitments.
  • Apply a metrics-driven approach to evaluating performance and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Prioritize work effectively in a dynamic and evolving business environment.
  • Work comfortably with incomplete information and refine analysis as new data becomes available.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment and a collaborative approach to resolving issues.
  • Balance multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
