Financial Operations Specialist I $20.59 – $25.53 minimum starting pay Job Level: Individual Contributor Shelter maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in geographic location, education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Please remember that this range is the starting base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position What You Will Be Doing: Balance and reconcile bank accounts, cash transaction reports, unprocessed cash slips, and agents leased offices for all Shelter Companies. Investigate problems and out-of-balance conditions, taking corrective action with banks, agents, vendors, auditors, and other departments. Audit disbursement requests and expense reports for compliance with company policies. Create travel management reports as requested. Process personal property reports in 12 states. Assist Accountants with accounting function activities. Analyze statistical data for preparation of management and statutory reports. Due to the duties and responsibilities of this position, a Credit Bureau Report may be ordered on final candidates. What We're Looking For: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to understand computer applications and reports to determine out-of-balance conditions and construct various types of reports. Demonstrate the ability to communicate with Accountants, IS Accounting team and others in the Company. Ability to accept supervision, follow instructions and work in a harmonious manner with co-workers, supervisors, and outside personnel. Experience in Outlook, Teams, Excel, Adobe, Access, Workday, and Mainframe. Ability to maintain schedules and work well with others.
