About The Position

Seeking Financial Operations Manager Full-time, Exempt Role Compensation starting at $70,000 up to $100,000/yr depending on experience In this role, you will: Leads business development activities, including proposal development, contract pipeline management, and relationship development with school districts, vendors, and partners, and manages financial reporting, including revenue analysis, profit and loss reporting, and trend analysis for senior leadership. Leads the annual budgeting process, supports operational and financial improvement initiatives, and builds systems that promote consistency, accountability, and scalability across the organization. Oversees billing, contracting, and customer service operations, including direct supervision of front-end and back-end accounts receivable staff Manages contract utilization and productivity reporting across all revenue contracts Oversees revenue-generating and independent contractor agreements; and ensures accurate cash application and timely collections. Accountable for assigning and managing FTE staffing based on revenue volume, service demand, and contract requirements. About DESS: DESS partners with child-serving institutions to provide services in early learning, behavioral and mental health treatment, academic interventions, and prevention programming. Requirements

  • Education: Bachelors degree in business, human services or education
  • Experience: 3-5 years in a business operations environment with advanced knowledge of financial management. Experience in mental health and/or education required.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred experience: Supervisory.
  • Acumen in working with interdisciplinary teams (HR, IR, RCM/AR, District administration, other centers, etc.).
  • Project management and grant management.
