Job Title: Financial Operations Manager/Director (Maternity Cover) Company: Prologis Do you want to play a role in global commerce? This role has significant exposure to European senior management and the corporate head office in the U.S. This is a challenging and versatile position that gives the right candidate the opportunity to gain exposure to many financial and non-financial disciplines in the company. The successful candidate will help develop, communicate and monitor departmental budgets and forecasts, provide strong business partnership with deep analysis and decision support. The candidate will aid in assessing the financial impact of their recommendations and strategy including presenting business case models.

Requirements

  • Bachelor level in finance or business studies or higher
  • Multiple years relevant work experience, preferably in an international environment
  • Solid accounting knowledge and proven record of driving process improvements
  • Curiosity and openness towards new technologies, including AI and automation, in financial planning and analysis
  • Great communication and business partnering skills
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast moving and demanding environment
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Self-aware and open to feedback

Responsibilities

  • Act as a business partner to the Head of Operations and European Senior Leadership Team in the operations planning field
  • Lead the continued development of budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning and various modelling tools of the company’s operational activities
  • Present the monthly/ quarterly operations results and key forecast assumptions to senior management/ fund management
  • Lead the European initiatives focusing on modelling the company’s long term growth and determine the impacting business factors in order to help formulating the business' strategic plan
  • Conduct various types of historical and forward-looking analysis, while explaining key drivers with insightful commentary in order to fully understand actual and forecasted performance which drive key business decisions
  • Provide guidance to the Regional Finance Managers and work closely with Fund Management during the business plan process
  • Act as a bridge between European RFM group and corporate HQ in the US to ensure all operations expectations are aligned
  • Involvement in other ad hoc reports/ strategic efforts/ projects
