About The Position

As a Financial Manager – Level 5, you will play a critical leadership role within the Integrated Fighter Group (IFG) Program Finance organization, reporting directly to the Senior Finance Manager of F-16 Upgrades and Sustainment. In this role, you will lead and develop a team of Program Finance professionals supporting F-16 Upgrades contracts. You will provide strategic financial oversight, ensure disciplined execution of financial processes, and partner closely with Program Managers, Control Account Managers (CAMs) and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver accurate, compliant, and actionable financial insights that support program success. The team is responsible for all aspects of Finance and Business operations to include proposal development and negotiations, program execution activities, profitability analysis, OSEC (Orders, Sales, EBIT and Cash) commitments, earned value management and internal/external program reporting. You are a strategic and results-driven finance leader with a proven ability to lead teams and influence outcomes in a complex, fast-paced environment. With deep experience in program finance, you bring a strong command of financial planning, analysis, and execution, along with a solid understanding of earned value management and government contracting practices. You excel at translating financial data into clear, actionable insights that drive program performance and support critical business decisions. You are a collaborative partner who builds strong relationships with Program Managers, Control Account Managers, and cross-functional stakeholders, earning trust through your expertise and communication. As a leader, you are committed to developing your team, fostering accountability, and creating an environment where individuals can grow and perform at a high level, while ensuring financial integrity, compliance, and accuracy and continuously seeking opportunities to improve processes and enhance overall program performance.

Requirements

  • Experience with leading, motivating or mentoring a diverse team of Program Finance professionals in a dynamic program environment.
  • Experience with enterprise-level cost management tools (SAP, Cobra, Compass, Open Plan, etc.).
  • Experience with Long Range Planning, contractual documents and requirements, Earned Value Management (EVM) and Program Financial Controls
  • Experience with Lockheed Martin CSR process

  • Experience in managing and analyzing cost and financial performance.
  • Effective communication skills; both oral and written.
  • Leadership experience in leading, motivating and mentoring a diverse team of Program Finance professionals in a dynamic program environment.
  • Familiarity with cost collection methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day activities of Program Finance personnel supporting F-16 Upgrades contracts within the IFG LOB.
  • Collaborate closely with Program Managers, ensuring data analysis and guidance is provided
  • Ensure Upgrades contracts have sound cost and financial baselines
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the portfolio's financial performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Maintain fiduciary oversight to ensure company and program financial objectives are achieved, including annual Long-Range Plan (LRP) goals.
  • Ensure all contracts are supported by sound budget baselines, robust risk management practices, and accurate Estimates at Complete (EACs).
  • Oversee and ensure compliance with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) processes and command media requirements.
  • Ensure accurate, timely reporting of program financial performance to internal leadership and external customers.
