About The Position

Financial and Data Analysts transform complex financial and operational data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of reporting measures. They collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, design analytical solutions, and lead efforts in data collection, reporting, and visualization

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related field; Master’s degree a plus
  • 2–4 years of experience in financial analysis, data analytics, or a similar role; healthcare industry experience preferred
  • Familiarity with healthcare finance, reimbursement models, or regulatory compliance is a plus
  • High level of mathematical and analytic ability
  • High-level problem-solving skills
  • A methodical and logical approach
  • Proficient with use of computer and Microsoft Office programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and be able to generate solutions independently.
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel and financial modeling.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to accuracy and detail required.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and analyze financial and operational data from multiple internal systems.
  • Develop financial and operational models to support decision-making and identify opportunities for performance improvement across the organization.
  • Contribute to the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Analyze monthly financial results and trends to deliver actionable insights and strategic recommendations to senior management.
  • Maintain knowledge and keep abreast of new regulations or policies.
  • Provide analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Identify trends, variances, anomalies and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Structure and analyze large, complex data sets to uncover patterns, trends, and business opportunities.
  • Leverage tools such as Excel, Power BI, and large data sets to perform advanced data analysis and automate reporting processes.
  • Perform routine data quality checks and reconciliations to ensure consistency with data, reporting, and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, validate data, and ensure accuracy in reporting.
  • Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings.
  • Contribute to the design and maintenance of dashboards and visualizations to communicate key metrics and findings across the organization.
