FINANCIAL COUNSELOR - SUMMERLIN HOSPITAL (PER DIEM)
About The Position
The Valley Health System has expanded into an integrated health network that serves more than two million people in Southern Nevada. Starting with Valley Hospital Medical Center in 1979, the Valley Health System has grown to include Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center, Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center, Summerlin Hospital Medical Center Henderson Hospital, Valley Health Specialty Hospital. and West Henderson Hospital. Job Description: Responsible for reviewing pre-admissions and admissions to ensure complete and accurate financial information is documented and calculates patient liability based upon verified information.
Requirements
- High School or equivalent preferred.
- One (1) year experience in admitting, verification and insurance procedures.
- Computer proficiency to include word processing and patient accounting system.
- Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patient.
Responsibilities

- Calculates patient liability based upon verified information.
