Requirements

  • Financial reporting

  • General ledger management
  • Month-end close procedures
  • Financial statement preparation
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3-4 years of experience in accounting or controller roles

Responsibilities

  • Lead the finance and control functions including invoicing, AR/AP, cash management, payroll, travel, commercial billing, and mergers and acquisitions.
  • Champion cultural changes with improved controls, external orientation, focused strategies, and streamlined processes.
  • Facilitate development and promotional moves; create reports to identify slow billing branches and develop best-in-class monthly highlights for sr management.
  • Produce annual savings by renegotiating and eliminating contracts, creating corporate policies for high-dollar purchases, and limiting corporate credit card distribution.
  • Automate month-end close procedures to shorten financial reporting time and create new packages for communicating financials to sr management.
  • Manage a team of eight finance and accounting professionals and oversee all aspects of IT.
