About The Position

As a Financial Compliance Analyst on our team, you’ll work on a financial management strategy to help our clients succeed. You’ll work with project managers and researchers to build an actionable plan to achieve our client's goals. This is an opportunity for you to provide financial analysis of invoices for energy project portfolios, review and analyze performer-submitted invoices, and perform in-depth financial analysis of federal, cost share, and category amounts, including verifying invoice costs against Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) cost regulations. You'll interface with programmatic Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) staff daily to resolve any outstanding invoice issues and assist the programmatic SETAs with any specific performer financial questions. You'll have the opportunity to draft monthly invoice status reports to assist the task lead with gauging invoice backlog and approval status, and you'll assist with supporting any ad-hoc financial tasks, including reconciling performer invoices, accounts, or program outlays. Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience with financial or billing analysis
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of financial or compliance auditing
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in grants management
  • Knowledge of OMB or FAR cost regulations
  • Possession of excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Master's degree in Accounting or Finance

Responsibilities
