Requirements

  • Profiency with standard office software applications (Outlook, Microsoft Office).
  • Desire to work on a small, influential team and collaborate effectively across functional departments.
  • Strong ability to access and input information into online accounts and systems.
  • Demonstrated capability to coordinate efforts within a team-oriented environment.
  • Customer service orientation with a focus on meeting stakeholder needs.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, or relevant years of experience.
  • 1 - 3+ years of experience in compliance-related work, preferably within healthcare or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Chief Compliance Officer and contribute to the Compliance and Ethics Program initiatives.
  • Serve as a proficient system administrator for outsourced compliance-related systems, including medical board licensing, policy management, and providers’ OIG verifications.
  • Manage the filing and tracking of regulatory applications, such as CLIA waivers and professional medical and nursing board licenses.
  • Coordinate the Quality Performance Improvement Committee, preparing quarterly reports and facilitating meetings.
  • Assist in developing the quarterly compliance report for the Board of Directors’ Compliance Committee.
  • Communicate with and aid Physician Practice Owners in meeting state licensing requirements, including the tracking and filing of CME credits.
  • Administer the policy management system and provide support to users to ensure compliance with system requirements.
  • Oversee the verification of prescribing providers’ OIG statuses through vendors and investigate resulting reports.
  • Manage any automated functionalities implemented by the department and contribute to the development of audit-related functions.
