About The Position

Kforce has a client in Baltimore, MD that is seeking a Financial Analyst. Responsibilities: Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models to support strategic planning, budgeting, and scenario analysis Budgeting & Planning: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, including variance analysis and insights into key drivers of business performance Business Partnering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, sales, marketing, etc.) to gather data, validate assumptions, and evaluate financial impact of business initiatives Data Management: Analyze large datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities; ensure data accuracy and integrity Performance Metrics: Track and report KPIs, providing recommendations to improve financial outcomes and operational efficiency Market & Competitive Research: Conduct industry and competitor analysis to support strategic planning and investment decisions Ad-hoc Analysis: Provide analytical support for special projects, including pricing analysis, investment evaluations, and cost-benefit assessments Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master's or CFA/CMA is a plus) 2-5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, FP&A, consulting, or related areas
