About The Position

As a Financial Analyst Manager – Level 5, you will play a critical leadership role within the F-35 Program Finance organization, reporting directly to the Senior Manager of F-35 Program Finance – Labor. In this role, you will lead and develop a team of Program Finance professionals supporting Engineering & Technology (E&T) activities for the Joint Strike Fighter program. You will provide strategic financial oversight, ensure disciplined execution of financial processes, and partner closely with Cost Account Managers (CAMs) and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver accurate, compliant, and actionable financial insights that support program success. You are a confident and collaborative financial leader with a strong background in program finance and earned value management. You bring a strategic mindset, a high standard for accuracy and compliance, and the ability to lead teams through complex financial environments. You excel at partnering with engineering and program stakeholders, translating financial data into meaningful insights, and guiding teams toward effective solutions. As a people leader, you value mentorship, accountability, and continuous improvement, and you are motivated by contributing to the success of high-visibility, mission-critical programs.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • This position is located at a facility that requires special access
  • Experience with leading, motivating or mentoring a diverse team of Program Finance professionals in a dynamic program environment.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) guidelines and processes and their implementation on programs.
  • Experience with enterprise-level cost management tools (SAP, Cobra, Compass, Open Plan, etc.).

Nice To Haves

  • 6-8 years’ experience in managing and analyzing cost and financial performance.
  • Effective communication skills; both oral and written.
  • Leadership experience in leading, motivating and mentoring -a diverse team of Program Finance professionals in a dynamic program environment.
  • Familiarity with cost collection methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day activities of Program Finance personnel supporting E&T efforts for the F-35 program.
  • Provide expert guidance and mentorship to Engineering & Technology CAMs on financial, budgeting, and business processes.
  • Ensure consistent application of financial policies, procedures, and internal controls across all supported teams.
  • Maintain fiduciary oversight to ensure company and program financial objectives are achieved, including annual Long-Range Plan (LRP) goals.
  • Ensure all contracts are supported by sound budget baselines, robust risk management practices, and accurate Estimates at Complete (EACs).
  • Oversee and ensure compliance with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) processes and command media requirements.
  • Ensure accurate, timely reporting of program financial performance to internal leadership and external customers.
  • Support CAMs in developing and executing corrective action plans, variance analyses, and EAC updates to address cost and schedule performance.
