Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial modeling techniques.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with financial software such as SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks.
  • Internship or prior work experience in financial analysis or related roles.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Certification such as CFA Level I or CPA in progress.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze financial data from multiple sources to support reporting and decision-making processes.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses.
  • Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts by collaborating with department heads and stakeholders.
  • Monitor financial performance by comparing actual results to budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and their causes.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Conduct market and industry research to provide context for financial analysis and business strategy.
  • Maintain and update financial databases and systems to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to management through presentations and written reports.
