Under the general supervision of the Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Section, Director of Operations in the Community Health Improvement Division (CHI), the Financial Analyst III will perform advanced budgetary analysis and monitoring of technical and program-related projects and contracts. This role is key in creating and supporting MCH expenditure forecasts, assessing financial and operational impact, and confirming alignment with MCH section budgetary goals and operational objectives. The position is responsible for coordinating and administering MCH financial processes and systems within the section emphasizing the development and evaluation of section budgetary data. This position’s work involves thorough examinations of MCH budgetary projections, financial data analysis, and the implementation of management practices to confirm compliance with federal and state laws, DSHS policies, and regulations related to budgeting and contracting. This position operates under minimal supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
