About The Position

We’re hiring for a Financial Analyst III to join our Life Pricing Actuarial team. In this role, we are looking for someone who thrives on solving unique problems with advance analytical skills and enjoys working with several internal partners and tools. Tasks Include: Participate in the maintenance, preparation and analysis of financial information used in the product development and pricing processes Work with a variety of technology including R, SAS, Excel, and Integrate/MG-ALFA to set rates, analyze profitability and competitiveness, provide reinsurance support, and much more Use strong technical skills to do financial research and calculations, as well as maintain and build both new and existing processes Collaborate across teams, partner with product management, inforce management, underwriting, technology teams, financial reporting, and others Perform other job-related duties and special projects as needed Operating at the intersection of financial services and technology, Principal builds financial tools that help our customers live better lives. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in math, actuarial science, finance or equivalent experience required, plus 2+ years of relevant experience preferred
  • Must have strong problem solving, leadership and analytical skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills required
  • Must have good interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrates the ability to accept and adapt to a changing environment

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of spreadsheet and database or similar PC software packages, or the ability to learn, is preferred
  • Aptitude in programming languages is preferred
