About The Position

The Financial Analyst will work in our Enterprise Pathology Department and support financial decision making by monitoring deadlines; collect, summarize, and consolidate data; allocate variances; analyze and interpret data; make comparative analyses; explain data and assumptions; research and correct variance problems; assemble and analyze historical financial data; and explain data and assumptions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in related field of study required
• 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance required
• Superior Excel skills required

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a role within a large healthcare organization strongly preferred
• Experience using Epic preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to senior management
• Support the on-boarding of junior analysts by mentoring and assisting them
• Track key performance indicators, prepare financial reports and sometimes present them
• Create ad-hoc reports and perform financial analysis
• Assist project teams with financial guidance
• Review financial reporting and ensure data integrity to enable management decisions.
• Ensure compliance with financial guidelines, company policies and regulations
