In support of our customer, we are seeking a Financial Analyst Midgrade with experience in supporting DOD Federal acquisition programs; knowledge of policy/principles/organizational protocols. The job duties include, but are not limited to the following: • Utilizing Government financial systems to perform budget execution and validation and financial tracking through closeout, reporting, and data updates. • Preparing and maintaining Phasing Plans; Spend Plans; Program Execution Plans; Obligation Phasing Plans; Status of Funds; Execution Review Reports; POM submissions; and Audit Reports. • Drafting financial slides, charts, graphs, and status reports using data from multiple sources. • Retrieving and reconciling financial data; tracking commitments, obligations, and liquidation status; analyzing historical and current data to identify and resolve discrepancies; and supporting DAR-Q processes. • Drafting, staffing, and submitting CDRLs for Government review. General Responsibilities Include: • Identifies, analyzes, and resolves a range of budgetary problems. • Develops alternative methods of funding. Formulates budget estimates for programs in which objectives, work processes, staffing needs, and funding requirements have changed to the extent that substantial re-budgeting is required each year. • Develops and administers the budget execution plans for industrially funded activities subject to fluctuating revenues and changing demand for services, which necessitate reprogramming actions throughout the fiscal year.
