About The Position

BayCare is seeking a skilled and motivated Financial Analyst II to join our Finance Division. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong foundation in accounting and finance who are ready to take on more complex responsibilities and grow into leadership. What You'll Do in This Role Work independently within your area of responsibility, with periodic interaction across all levels of management Conduct research on moderately complex financial and accounting topics Serve as the financial representative for moderately to highly complex clinical or business service lines Prepare and enhance processes for financial analysis, reporting, and general accounting Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries and variance analysis Facilitate and analyze data for operating and capital budgets and forecasts Prepare and ensure accuracy of regulatory reporting Ensure compliance with capital asset management policies Coordinate charge master services Provide excellent customer service while managing multiple tasks Begin developing leadership skills by participating in and leading low-to-moderate complexity projects within the Finance Division

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; OR Bachelor's degree in Finance; OR Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Minimum 2 years in Accounting; OR Minimum 2 years in Finance-related roles; OR Minimum 3 years in a related field
  • High-level understanding of EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse) functions
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • CPA certification (Accounting)
  • Grant accounting experience

Responsibilities
