Financial Analyst I

The Financial Analyst I will be responsible for maintaining spreadsheets and statistical models for financial analyses and will assist with the preparation of various reports and presentations for management within the Enterprise Pathology Department.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in related field of study.
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance (can include internship experience).
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Good analytical and mathematical skills.
- Intermediate Excel is required (pivot tables and V lookups).
- Strong ability to work independently and manage ones time.
- GAAP – Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Ability to analyze, consolidate, and interpret accounting data.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field of study.
- 2+ years of experience in a role within a large healthcare organization.
Responsibilities
- Provide analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to senior management.
- Creates ad hoc reports and performs financial analysis.
- Develops financial plans and reports for organizational leaders.
- Reviews financial reporting and ensures data integrity to enable management decisions.
- Evaluate capital expenditures and depreciation.
- Analyze processes to identify gaps that can improve profit margins.
