About The Position

The Financial Analyst provides advanced financial support and conducts high-level analysis of revenue, credit expenses, and overhead, while working with regional leadership to make decisions about expense management, and provide accurate and data-based information on our profitability. The incumbent will provide regional support including basic journal preparation, account reconciliations, and monthly and quarterly tracking and reporting. Career Path Definitions & Distinctions: Financial Analyst : Has 2-5 years of progressively complex experience in the finance industry or accounting track with advanced financial analysis and reporting responsibilities. Possesses a solid working knowledge of financial procedures and regulations. Assists in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, or annual financial statements. Sr. Financial Analyst: Has 5+ years of progressively complex experience in the finance industry or accounting track with advanced financial analysis and reporting responsibilities. Possesses a high level of knowledge of financial procedures and regulations. Provides guidance, coaching, and mentoring to others at division level.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, statistics, or business administration and 2-4 years of progressive financial work experience.
The incumbent must have effective project leadership to balance data gathering while working with key staff to complete critical business projects and a demonstrated ability to work as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
Excellent verbal, written, analytical, and formal presentation skills, an ability to multitask and meet consistent deadlines, and excellent time management and organizational ability are required.
Exceptional computer and financial modeling experience, along with strong leadership and interpersonal skills, are expected.
The ability to travel to division locations throughout the region is also required.
Analytically minded and self-directed individual who possesses the critical combination of meticulous attention to detail with an ability to see the larger picture.
Outstanding problem-solving skills, statistical knowledge, and an ability to work comfortably under pressure while delivering on tight deadlines is essential.

Responsibilities

Monitors highly advanced key financial performance measures by analyzing financial data while considering company goals and financial standing.
Performs basic month-end, regional level journal entries and account reconciliations.
Understands the software systems used in the billing of CRS to enable efficient billing processes and ability to locate information upon request of the customer and/or other departments.
Creates and present Proformas when requested by managers to analyze profitability before, during and after the initial set-up of accounts.
Guides and assists divisions with large account billing and reporting to decrease the chance of inaccuracy.
Reports, analyzes, and interprets complex financial and operating data for the assigned area, including cost analysis, market niche reporting, profitability analysis, regional geographic performance assessment, pricing analysis, cost-volume-process analysis and any other analysis pertaining to the interest of management.
Assists as needed in preparing budgets and forecasts with reviews to ensure accuracy.
Participates in the preparation and compilation of financial plans, including division specific modeling, graphic presentation of both operating and financial data to enhance management's ability to plan and monitor the key factors that management uses track performance.
