About The Position

The Financial Analyst is responsible for delivering insightful financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making across the gaming division. Under the direction of the Senior Vice President of Finance - Gaming, this role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with executive leadership in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Ideal for early-career professionals, this position provides exposure to casino, hotel, and restaurant operations while developing expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analytics.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
1-3 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in the casino, hotel, or restaurant industry
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, formulas, conditional formatting)
Solid understanding of financial statements and general ledger concepts
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Must be at least 21 years of age

Responsibilities

Support short- and long-term financial planning, including forecasting and budgeting for gaming, hotel, and restaurant operations
Build and maintain databases for financial, marketing, staffing, and operational data
Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports and dashboards to track performance and identify trends
Analyze promotional programs, labor metrics, and operating expenses to evaluate profitability and efficiency
Prepare journal entries, variance reports, and financial summaries for senior management
Monitor and interpret financial results, providing actionable insights to leadership
Assist with special projects and ad hoc analyses to support business growth and operational improvements
Ensure compliance with Gaming Commission regulations, internal policies, and PCI standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support treasury and accounting processes
