About The Position

The Financial Analyst is responsible for delivering insightful financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making across the gaming division. Under the direction of the Senior Vice President of Finance - Gaming, this role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with executive leadership in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Ideal for early-career professionals, this position provides exposure to casino, hotel, and restaurant operations while developing expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analytics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in the casino, hotel, or restaurant industry
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, formulas, conditional formatting)
  • Solid understanding of financial statements and general ledger concepts
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Responsibilities

  • Support short- and long-term financial planning, including forecasting and budgeting for gaming, hotel, and restaurant operations
  • Build and maintain databases for financial, marketing, staffing, and operational data
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports and dashboards to track performance and identify trends
  • Analyze promotional programs, labor metrics, and operating expenses to evaluate profitability and efficiency
  • Prepare journal entries, variance reports, and financial summaries for senior management
  • Monitor and interpret financial results, providing actionable insights to leadership
  • Assist with special projects and ad hoc analyses to support business growth and operational improvements
  • Ensure compliance with Gaming Commission regulations, internal policies, and PCI standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support treasury and accounting processes
