The Professional, Corporate FP&A role has previously served as a proving-ground for high-performing individuals within our organization. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred
  • 1+ years of experience in a finance or accounting role
  • Advanced knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Excel including business and financial modeling
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Superior critical thinking skills, including the ability to identify trends within raw data
  • Experience in the use of analytical tools and methodologies, including creation of spreadsheet-based reports, tools and analysis
  • Excellent organizational skills and experience improving existing processes
  • Ability to manage multiple projects on concurrent basis by demonstrating ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to research and analyze data, and convert data into business insights
  • Must be flexible and have the ability to adapt to a changing environment
  • A positive attitude and a desire to drive process improvement

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SmartView (Oracle Essbase) a plus

Responsibilities

  • Drive close partnership with segment finance and business teams on planning, forecasts, and monthly reporting activities.
  • Coordinate monthly financial reporting and variance driver analysis that provide leadership with explanations on variances to budget, trend, and year over year growth.
  • Support external reporting of non-GAAP financial information to investors and other stakeholders.
  • Help to coordinate the annual budget and monthly re-forecasting process.
  • Provide timely and accurate information for a variety of cross-functional teams including Accounting, HR, Legal, etc.
  • Support the management team with ad hoc reporting requests and special projects, including acquisitions, profitability analysis, process improvement projects, strategic analysis, and others.
  • Pilot and learn new software as we take our reporting to the cloud using BI visualizations.
