About The Position

This position is based out of our Jamestown, ND office. Join Farmers Union - Be a Key Part of Our Finance Team! Job Purpose: Responsible for the processing of accounts payable for North Dakota Farmers Union, Farmers Union Insurance and related entities . Also responsible for providing finance and administrative support for the shared services department.

Requirements

• Proficient in MS Office Products
• Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics GP Software
• Teamwork and collaboration, with a proactive, professional approach to work
• Effective communication skills with strong interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Self-motivated with a desire for personal growth

• Understanding of accounting principles, processes, and procedures

• Degree in accounting or related field or previous related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable for all entities
• Process employee expense reports.
• Process credit card statements for all entities.
• Maintain vehicle license renewal records.
• Prepare and post journal entries as applicable.
• Upload electronic payment files for payment processing.
• Maintain written procedures for various job functions.
• Ensure security, integrity and confidentiality of data.
• Provide exceptional customer experience.
• Other duties as assigned.
