The Financial Aid Professional I works under the general supervision of the call center supervisor and is responsible for assisting to counsel students and parents over the phone. This position will provide answers to callers by being familiar with federal, state, and university policies and regulations and by looking up student data in the integrated student information system. The Financial Aid Professional I will have the opportunity to visit orientation sessions on campus in order to present information concerning financial aid procedures and will work with their supervisor to assist in default management efforts. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy.
