About The Position

UMB’s Private Wealth Management team custom-tailors services for clients, incorporating financial planning, private banking, investment management, personal trust and lifestyle services, estate management and insurance services. As the Financial Advisor , you will be responsible for maintaining the ongoing client relationships by maintaining regular communication with the client and working in consultation with the client’s other advisors as well as being responsible for leading in the development of new client relationships. The Financial Advisor, through a planning-led approach, will discuss investment performance, economic and market trends while presenting financial and tax planning options and opportunities to our clients. This role is hybrid (Tues/Wed/Thur on site). How you’ll spend your time: Provide clear, crisp and concise communication skills to provide financial advice and build trust with our clients and deepening the relationship. Problem solving, and analytical skills will be used to provide solutions in a simplistic way that is easy for our clients to understand. You will use time management to maximize the time spent on activities that are impactful for the client.

Requirements

  • You possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • You have 7 or more years success as a Financial Advisor.
  • You hold the FINRA Series 7, 63, 65, or 66 licenses or have the ability to obtain within 120 days of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining the ongoing client relationships by maintaining regular communication with the client and working in consultation with the client’s other advisors
