Strong Tower Associates is a fee-based financial planning firm serving primarily retirees in Central Pennsylvania. We're a small, tight-knit team. We care deeply about our clients and about doing the job right. We're hiring an Associate Advisor to own a portion of our client relationships and grow with us long-term. What You'll Do You'll take primary ownership of a defined set of client relationships, handling their planning, communication, and service needs. You'll also support our lead advisor across the full client book. Day to day, that looks like: Managing ongoing client relationships, including quarterly meeting prep and follow-up Handling portfolio rebalancing and identifying tax-loss harvesting opportunities Keeping CRM records current with clear notes and action items Following up on transfers, paperwork, and pending client items Assisting with annuity reviews and prospect re-engagement Participating in client events and educational workshops What We're Looking For Must-haves: Series 65 license (active) Experience in a client-facing financial services role Comfortable using CRM systems and digital planning tools Strong attention to detail and follow-through Nice to have: 3+ years in a financial planning or advisory support role Experience with financial planning software (eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, or similar) Background working with retirees or pre-retirees You don't need to bring a book of business. There's no cold calling. We're looking for someone who finds genuine satisfaction in serving clients well and wants to grow inside a firm that shares their values. Compensation and Benefits Salary: $56,000–$90,000 depending on experience, plus bonus potential $250/month health insurance stipend 24 days PTO per year plus all federal holidays Primary office: State College (with regular travel to Lewisburg satellite office) Flexible hours, roughly 8 AM–4 PM, with occasional evening events If your experience warrants a conversation outside that range, we're open to it. Where This Can Go This isn't a support role with a ceiling. As you build trust with clients and demonstrate your planning instincts, there's a clear path toward a lead advisor role.
