OVERVIEW: The Financial Accountant plays a key role in maintaining accurate and timely financial records for designated locations within the Acumatica ERP system. This position is integral to ensuring the integrity of financial data, supporting business operations through detailed financial insights, and collaborating closely with MarineMax Shared Services and cross-functional teams. The Financial Accountant is responsible for managing the general ledger, performing reconciliations, preparing journal entries, and contributing to the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. This role also supports budgeting, forecasting, regulatory compliance, and continuous process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting. KEY RESULTS: Consistently meet deadlines by delivering high-quality financial analysis with minimal errors, while maintaining attention to detail and adhering to company policies. Foster positive relationships with team members and business partners, resulting in favorable feedback on deliverables.
