About The Position

Our client, a highly regarded national law firm, is seeking a Finance & Restructuring Associate to join its Dallas office. This opportunity is well-suited for an associate looking to expand their experience in sophisticated corporate finance transactions while working within a collaborative and well-respected practice. The role offers meaningful responsibility and exposure to a broad range of financing structures and restructuring-related matters.

Requirements

Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
3–5 years of corporate finance transactional experience at a large law firm
Texas bar admission or ability to become admitted in Texas
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent academic credentials and attention to detail

Responsibilities

Work on complex corporate finance transactions, including senior and mezzanine debt, asset-based lending, cash-flow lending, sponsor finance, unitranche, and junior capital transactions
Support workout and restructuring-related matters
Draft, review, and negotiate financing and transaction documentation
Collaborate closely with partners and senior attorneys on active matters
Participate in deal execution and client-facing work from start to finish
