About The Position

Amazon MGM Studios (AMS) Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team is looking
for a Financial Analyst to support the business and finance teams, with a focus
on supporting the financial planning efforts of Free Cash Flow consolidation.
This role will focus on both core financial planning cycles, including Month-End
Close, Quarterly Guidance forecasts and Annual Operating Plans, as well as
ongoing controllership.

The successful candidate will have exceptional excel/systems skills, keen
attention to detail, and strong verbal and written communication skills. They
will have demonstrated success in a fast-paced, complex, global,
results-oriented environment. The team needs a self-starter, who is able to work
efficiently and autonomously. They must be able to think and act both
strategically and tactically and manage multiple competing priorities
effectively.

Requirements

• 1+ years of finance experience
• 2+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science)
• Knowledge of standard software including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL and VBA skills
• Experience using data to influence business decisions
• Experience in corporate finance including budgeting/planning, forecasting and reporting

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
• Experience in TM1, Data Warehouse and SQL
• CPA
• Experience in accounting management in Big Four with Fortune 500 clients

Responsibilities

• Support month end, quarterly, annual operating financial planning working cross functionally with various teams, including Prime Video finance, accounting, and business operations
• Ensure data is accurately reflected in financial planning systems, including Essbase and Cognos
• Drive process automation to streamline current processes and enhance financial controllership
• Ad hoc project support on company-wide strategic initiatives
• Analyze complex financial data and provide accurate and timely reports to key stakeholders, highlighting key insights and recommendations
• Support the month-end close process and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Assist in developing and implementing financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
