Amazon is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Finance Manager to lead FP&A Reporting for Amazon's Global Logistics Inbound Network. This role combines financial reporting leadership with strategic partnership, serving as the primary owner of all Inbound financial reporting, analysis, and insights that drive decision-making across the organization. As the FP&A Reporting Lead for Inbound, you will own the end-to-end reporting process, including monthly financial reviews, variance analysis, forecasting, and executive-level reporting packages. You will be responsible for consolidating financial results across multiple Inbound business units, developing standardized reporting frameworks, and delivering actionable insights that influence strategic decisions. This role requires translating complex financial data into clear narratives that enable leadership to understand performance drivers and make informed business decisions. This person will work closely with the Inbound Planning and Execution team as their strategic finance business partner, serving as the primary point of contact for all financial reporting and analysis. They will take a practical, down-to-earth approach to thoroughly understand the team's operations, identify cost savings opportunities, and own the process for securing financial entitlements. Through regular meetings and deep dives into data and performance metrics, they will gain insights into areas for optimization and process improvements. Throughout the day, you're constantly switching between strategic thinking (What does this data mean for our business?) and tactical execution (How do I ensure this report is accurate and on time?). You're equally comfortable presenting to VPs, debugging a data discrepancy with analysts, and rolling up your sleeves to build financial models. Your ability to translate complex financial information into clear insights makes you an indispensable partner to the Inbound leadership team. The Inbound Transportation Finance Team is responsible for oversight of the consolidated P&L that comprises of Imports, Domestic Inbound, and Transfers and is responsible for getting inventory from Vendors to Fulfillment Centers (FCs) as well as moving inventory within the FC network in a cost efficient and timely manner.
