About The Position

The Global Transportation & Logistics team is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to optimize worldwide logistics operations through strong analytical skills, Excel proficiency, and the ability to manage tactical supply chain challenges with limited guidance. You'll develop business strategies and design workflows to determine optimal transportation selection and routing assignments that meet customer delivery needs, while leveraging your functional knowledge of procurement, transportation, and warehouse operations to analyze trends, identify cost savings, and maintain process documentation including SOPs and workflow trackers. Working at the workflow and process level, you'll partner with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, execute change management, drive operational excellence, and meet key operational metrics (SLAs, productivity, quality benchmarks) while managing risks, escalating roadblocks, and collaborating with Analytics and Tech teams to enhance data reporting across our data center logistics network. A typical day as a Supply Chain Manager I involve collaborating with internal stakeholders across Janus Operations, Quality, Operations, Systems Engineering, and Program Management teams to ensure seamless spare part delivery for AWS IPS, DCO, and ACL customers. You'll start your morning analyzing transportation data and tracking metrics to identify potential delays or quality issues, then work with cross-functional partners to troubleshoot routing challenges and optimize delivery schedules. Throughout the day, you'll maintain workflow trackers, update SOPs based on process improvements, and conduct root cause analysis when defects occur to prevent future issues. You'll participate in strategic planning sessions to identify cost savings opportunities, execute change management initiatives to improve compliance, and escalate critical risks that could impact on-time delivery. Your primary focus is solving the complex challenge of ensuring spare parts arrive on-time and in perfect condition to support worldwide data center operations—balancing trade-offs between speed, cost, and quality while meeting SLA commitments and maintaining operational excellence across the global logistics network. The Global Transportation & Logistics (GTL) team is the backbone of worldwide supply chain operations, united by a clear mission: to deliver what our customers need, where they need it, when they need it. We operate at the intersection of strategy and execution in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where analytical rigor meets operational excellence, and every decision impacts the reliability of critical infrastructure supporting our data center operations. Our culture is customer-obsessed and data-driven—we work backward from customer needs, partner across functions with teams like Janus Operations, Quality, Systems Engineering, and Program Management, and take ownership of complex logistics challenges that span continents. We value problem-solvers who can dive deep into data, troubleshoot independently, and drive continuous improvement through process enhancements and scalable solutions. GTL is committed to developing our people—we empower team members to grow their skills, take on new challenges, and advance their careers while making a tangible impact on global operations. If you're passionate about supply chain optimization and want to grow in an environment where your contributions directly enable customer success, GTL offers the support, mentorship, and opportunities to help you thrive.
