About The Position

Standard Motor Products, Inc. The company is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Finance Manager, Business Support with strong technology skills to join its finance team. This role is critical for driving financial planning, forecasting, and analysis across global operations, partnering closely with senior leadership across Finance, Operations, IT, and the Transformation Office. The position supports strategic decision-making, tracks transformation benefits, and enables programs to achieve targeted outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess strong modeling skills, experience with planning technology tools, business acumen, and the ability to communicate insights that influence decision-making at all organizational levels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline
  • 7+ years of progressive finance experience, including FP&A, business partnering, and transformation/change management.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
  • Experience with ERP systems and BI tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Planning Cloud EPM (EPBCS/PBCS) or similar planning platforms.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Experience working with international teams and understanding global financial practices.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as finance lead for multi-year transformation and modernization programs (digital, operational efficiency, restructuring, etc.).
  • Challenge assumptions and provide insight to ensure business cases are financially sound and aligned with organizational strategy.
  • Partner with the Transformation Office to define financial targets, KPIs, and success metrics.
  • Develop cost–benefit analysis, ROI models, and scenario planning for initiatives.
  • Track actual vs. forecasted benefits, including efficiency gains, revenue uplift, and transformation costs.
  • Provide monthly and quarterly performance reporting to executive leadership.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders and transformation workstream owners.
  • Present complex financial insights in an accessible, decision-supportive manner.
  • Influence leadership to adopt data-driven change decisions.
