About The Position

Internship Program Overview: HealthEdge offers a structured paid 12-week virtual internship program that will allow you to help drive meaningful and strategic project work that delivers real impact to our teams, customers, and business, while having fun along the way! You will support the Finance team and will also get exposure to various departments and strategic initiatives through our Discover HealthEdge weekly series. Interns will also participate in our three-day Innovation Challenge and a final internship project presentation to showcase the impact you’ve made. Additionally, we provide workshops focused on resume writing, LinkedIn profiles, interview preparation, and more! About Center of Excellence: Centers of Excellence (COE) are teams whose primary goal is to provide expertise in a specific field. COEs will usually provide support through training, research, and skilled leaders. In the case of HealthEdge, our Centers of Excellence incorporate the Human Resources, IT, Legal and Financial fields, all of which provide support to our Product divisions and allows the enterprise to move forward and achieve its goals.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field
  • Familiarity with financial statements and basic accounting principles
  • Intermediate experience with Excel (pivots, formulas, data manipulation)
  • Curious and inquisitive mindset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker)

Responsibilities

  • Partner with 1–2 Finance Business Partners to understand and document their highest‑priority reporting needs.
  • Design and build 2–3 Power BI dashboards, including data visualizations and supporting documentation.
  • Gather detailed business requirements and translate them into scalable reporting solutions.
  • Test dashboard functionality, validate data accuracy, and incorporate feedback from stakeholders.
  • Develop user guides and reference materials to enable self‑service analytics and smooth adoption.
  • Create reusable dashboard templates that can be replicated for additional business partners after the internship.
  • Support ad‑hoc analytical projects, such as scenario modeling, enhancements to executive reporting aligned with private equity ownership priorities, or process documentation efforts.
  • Contribute to initiatives that improve team efficiency, reporting capabilities, and operational clarity.
