About The Position

The Finance function includes various teams like FP&A, Capital Management, Controllership, Tax, Finance Operations, Expense Management, Treasury, Business Unit Finance, and Investor Relations. The Summer Internship Program is a 10-week program designed to enhance business acumen and provide insight into the industry. Interns are placed in meaningful roles within one of the Finance functional areas, offering unique opportunities to gain core technical knowledge and professional skills. The program includes learning from senior management, webinars, discussion forums, and networking receptions. Interns set goals with their managers, and successful participants may be considered for full-time analyst positions in Summer 2027. Intern positions are available in Houston, TX, and Jersey City, NJ.

Requirements

  • College students who are expected to graduate between December 2026 - August 2028
  • Strong academic and extracurricular achievement
  • Solid analytical and quantitative skills
  • Enthusiasm about learning about the finance and insurance industry
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Overall understanding of fundamental finance and accounting acumen
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel, Photoshop, Illustrator

Responsibilities

  • Provide key reporting and analytics support, review business performance, drive planning and forecasting efforts, and build operating budgets
  • Perform controllership activities that deliver required Corebridge Financial consolidated financial reporting, provide tax advisory, planning, accounting, compliance, and analytics for all types of taxes
  • Improve financial management systems and information, contribute to process improvement or savings initiatives, and participate in finance projects
  • Develop and update reports on capital, forecast, cash flows, funding and liquidity, review business metrics and perform competitive intelligence
