About The Position

The Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager is responsible for assisting customers with vehicle financing and protection products while ensuring all dealership transactions comply with federal, state, and lender regulations. The F&I Manager works closely with the sales team, lenders, and customers to structure financing options, present aftermarket products, and complete accurate documentation for vehicle purchases.

Requirements

  • Previous automotive finance, sales, or dealership experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive financing and lending practices.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with customers to review financing options for vehicle purchases.
  • Present and explain available finance and insurance products, including extended service contracts, GAP coverage, maintenance plans, and other protection products.
  • Assist customers in selecting financing options that meet their needs and budget.
  • Ensure all financing and product presentations are conducted in a transparent and professional manner.
  • Submit credit applications to lending institutions.
  • Work with banks and financial partners to secure competitive financing approvals.
  • Structure deals in compliance with lender requirements and dealership policies.
  • Maintain positive relationships with lenders and financial institutions.
  • Prepare and review all financing and lease documentation.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Verify that all contracts, disclosures, and documentation are properly signed and processed.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws including Truth in Lending, privacy regulations, and dealership policies.
  • Work closely with the sales department to finalize deals efficiently.
  • Assist sales managers with deal structure when needed.
  • Provide guidance on financing options and product availability.
  • Help ensure smooth transition from sales to finance for customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of all finance transactions.
  • Ensure deals are funded in a timely manner.
  • Monitor finance product performance and profitability.
  • Assist with audits and documentation reviews when necessary.
