This position is responsible for leading the analysis, validation, and delivery of Commercial employer and broker reporting. This role serves as a subject‑matter expert for Commercial reporting data, platforms, and business rules, ensuring high‑quality, client‑ready reporting for fully insured and self‑funded business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in analytics, statistics, healthcare, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience working with healthcare data, including claims and eligibility.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, SAS, Power BI, Snowflake or similar analytical tools.
  • Strong understanding of Commercial healthcare data, reimbursement concepts, and reporting requirements.
  • Proven ability to work independently on complex, ambiguous problems and deliver high‑quality results.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting employer or broker reporting in a Commercial health plan environment.
  • Familiarity with reporting platforms and vendor‑supported analytics tools.
  • Experience mentoring analysts or leading analytical workstreams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, maintenance, and delivery of Commercial reporting for employers, brokers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Own complex recurring and ad hoc Commercial reports and data feeds, including high‑cost claimant, utilization, financial, medical and pharmacy reports.
  • Perform complex analysis of healthcare data, including medical, pharmacy, eligibility, provider, and financial information.
  • Serve as a subject‑matter expert for Commercial reporting platforms (e.g., employer reporting systems and dashboards).
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness through robust validation, reconciliation, and quality controls.
  • Investigate and resolve complex data issues impacting client deliverables, renewals, underwriting, or financial reporting.
  • Partner with business, IT, and vendor teams to design, enhance, and modernize Commercial reporting solutions.
  • Lead process improvements and automation efforts to increase efficiency and reduce operational risk.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for report logic, data definitions, assumptions, and dependencies.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to other analysts, setting standards for quality and best practices.
  • Communicate analytical findings clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
