About The Position

Hometown Health Center (HHC) is growing—and we’re seeking a detail-oriented, hands-on Finance Coordinator to join our team! This vital role supports the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and oversees key financial operations to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or bookkeeping
• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred)
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial software
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently, handle multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
• Comfortable working with confidential information and cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post standard and adjusting journal entries
• Manage daily cash receipts and reconcile bank statements
• Process accounts payable and receivable in accordance with internal policies
• Coordinate bi-weekly payroll processing and vendor check runs
• Support month-end close, financial reporting, and external audits
• Assist in annual budget development and organizational reporting
• Maintain accurate fiscal files, vendor records, and internal documentation
• Identify opportunities to streamline financial systems and workflows
• Provide administrative and clerical finance support as needed
