This position leads data conversion activities, oversees comprehensive testing, and serves as the security subject matter expert for role design and access management. The analyst will also manage finance documentation, ensure compliance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes. Here is how the Finance Business Analyst will help:

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Information Systems / Management Information Systems (MIS) or a related experience.
  • Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in finance, accounting, or business analysis, including ERP implementation or system integration projects required.
  • Experience with Workday or other modern ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, Oracle Fusion) required.
  • Possess or obtain prior to employment a valid Pennsylvania Class C driver’s license. Note: license must be maintained throughout employment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and ERP-related projects, fostering collaboration across departments to achieve strategic financial and system objectives.
  • Strong expertise in ERP systems (Workday preferred), including data conversion, security role design, and system testing; proficiency in reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into system configurations and actionable solutions.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills, ensuring clarity and accuracy in project deliverables and post-go-live support materials.
  • Experience in project management, including planning, tracking, and coordinating finance-related deliverables within large-scale system implementations.
  • Ability to manage Workday upgrades and enhancements, supporting continuous improvement and functionality optimization.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to travel up to 5% as needed for project or operational support.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute data conversion activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness and integrity throughout system migration.
  • Develop and manage data validation processes, reconciling migrated data against source systems to guarantee reliability.
  • Direct and oversee comprehensive testing, including end-to-end scenarios to validate functionality and alignment with business requirements.
  • Serve as security subject matter expert, designing roles and conducting rigorous access and permissions testing.
  • Provide project management leadership, including planning, coordinating and tracking finance-related deliverables, ensuring timelines, milestones, and dependencies are met throughout the ERP implementation.
  • Manage security compliance, ensuring adherence to internal controls and audit requirements during system implementation.
  • Act as ACAA Finance documentation lead, creating and maintaining robust documentation to support post–go-live system management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, translating business needs into system configurations and actionable solutions.
  • Support daily Workday operations, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system finance processes for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Manage ongoing Workday system upgrades and enhancements, ensuring smooth adoption of new features and maintaining system integrity.
  • Maintain ongoing process documentation, driving continuous improvement and supporting future functionality enhancements.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned or required.
