This role will provide data driven analysis and support the Finance organization and executive leadership throughout the organization. Location: This role is approved for hybrid work out of our corporate offices in Newport News, VA, according to company policy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2 - 4 years proven experience as a Finance Analyst or equivalent work experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft O365 (Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills, and comfortable combining multiple data sources.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment of hard-working colleagues.
  • Effectively self-manage schedule, work location (office/remote) and competing priorities from multiple internal customers/projects.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Oracle, Azure, Anaplan and Power BI platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Enhance and maintain critical financial analytical tools.
  • Prepare monthly reporting and variance analysis.
  • Assist in preparation, entry and updates of budget and forecast.
  • Develop, deliver, and refine ad hoc analysis, financial models, and business cases to support a rapidly changing business environment.
  • Understand the financial results to help identify ways of improving productivity, efficiency, and facilitating profitable growth.
  • Collaborate with adjacent finance departments, fellow field finance and sourcing team members, and other areas of the business (IT, Facilities, HR, etc.).
