Finance/Accounting Student – Accounts Payable (Temporary)

About the Role We are seeking a Temporary Accounts Payable Assistant to provide additional support to our Accounting team during the summer. This role is ideal for accounting or finance students looking to gain hands‑on exposure to real‑world accounts payable processes in a professional environment.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed coursework in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- Comfortable working with computer systems and invoice data
- Reliable, organized, and able to follow established processes
Responsibilities
- Review and process Purchase Orders (POs) for accuracy and completeness
- Assist with charging back agents as needed
- Review Accounts Payable logistics invoices
- Verify that the system (Suti) has correctly read invoice details
- Match invoices to the appropriate authorizations and documentation
- Identify discrepancies and escalate issues to the AP team when needed
- Perform general Accounts Payable support tasks as assigned
