OVERVIEW Starting wage is based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. The Frameless Assembler will be responsible for the precise measurement, cutting, and installation of cabinets, glass doors, end panels, and drawer fronts, ensuring a high-quality finish that meets client specifications and industry standards. The Frameless Assembler works with a variety of materials such as glue, wood, glass, and various tools. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Meticulous to ensure precise measurements and installation.
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy materials.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Proven experience as a cabinet finisher.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices.
  • Completion of a relevant apprenticeship program or vocational training.
  • Proficiency in the use of cutting and shaping tools.
  • Proven ability to interpret installation specifications and blueprints.
  • Fluency in additional languages, particularly Spanish.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site evaluations to measure and assess the installation area.
  • Receive and inspect materials, check for defects, and ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Acclimate materials to the installation environment, especially for products sensitive to temperature and humidity.
  • Use appropriate tools and techniques to ensure a precise and professional installation.
  • Follow blueprints and client specifications to achieve the desired cabinet layout and design.
  • Repair or replace damaged or worn materials as needed.
  • Match existing materials and patterns to achieve a seamless look.
  • Conduct quality inspections during and after installation to verify that the flooring meets industry standards and client expectations.
  • Promptly address defects, irregularities, or issues to ensure a high-quality finish.
  • Communicate with clients to understand their preferences, answer questions, and provide information on maintenance and care of the installed cabinets.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment.
  • Ensure the work area is clean and free of hazards during and after installation.
  • Employ appropriate installation techniques..
  • Align patterns, seams, and transitions in accordance with the specified design, ensuring a cohesive and visually appealing result.
