About The Position

The Amazon MGM Studios Awards team supports the promotion of original films and series for Prime Video and theatrical releases across the global awards landscape. Amazon MGM Studios is seeking an Awards Specialist to support the execution of awards campaigns for both film and series titles across all phases of the awards calendar, including Oscars, Emmys, BAFTAs, Golden Globes, SAG, DGA, WGA, and others. This role works cross-functionally with filmmakers, talent, agencies, and internal teams to support awards campaigns. The Awards Specialist manages a high volume of tactical and operational work and collaborates closely with publicity, marketing, legal, international, and external partners to support screenings, events, talent logistics, materials delivery, and compliance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. They are able to manage multiple priorities, work independently, anticipate needs, and communicate clearly across teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 3+ years of entertainment, brand or production entity experience
  • Can work proactively and independently, meet deadlines, and deliver on projects and tasks
  • Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
  • Experience supporting significant projects from concept to deployment
  • A passion for pop culture and entertainment

Responsibilities

  • Develop and coordinate For Your Consideration (FYC) e-blast creative in partnership with external agencies; manage approvals, scheduling, and payments with guilds and awards organizations, including AMPAS, DGA, WGA, CCA, PGA, and others
  • Review event-related contracts and agreements; partner with internal legal teams and external vendors to process work orders, sponsorships, advertising insertion orders, licenses, and NDAs
  • Track and manage awards budgets across film and series titles
  • Plan and execute guild and tastemaker screenings and events for film and series, including venue booking, RSVP management, guest communications, on-site talent handling, and event logistics
  • Coordinate content delivery (DCP/KDM), anti-piracy measures, security, and catering for awards events
  • Manage talent travel logistics and scheduling across awards activities
  • Prepare and maintain weekly awards updates and agendas for internal leadership
  • Partner with the awards creative team to develop campaign materials, including one-sheets and holding slides
  • Support awards ceremony logistics, including ticketing, talent and executive attendance, sponsorship elements, payments, and asset delivery
  • Negotiate glam and styling services for talent within established budgets
  • Provide on-site support for talent and executives at awards ceremonies and events
