About The Position

Keep saw blades and knives in good working order for the mill.
The hourly rate of pay for this position is $35.83.

Requirements

• Basic mechanical skills
• Proficient in math

Responsibilities

• Bench bands & circle saw blades.
• Sharpen saws and knives using sharpening machine.
• Maintain saw lube.
• Change saws and knives in the mill.
• Be proficient in knife grinding & guide repair.
• Be proficient in repairing bands & circle saws.
• Be able to train 1 & 2 levels.
• Clean up work areas.
• Replace worn saw teeth in saws.
• Follow all applicable safety rules.
• Work regularly scheduled shifts.
• Work scheduled overtime – as required.
• Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
