About The Position

Keep saw blades and knives in good working order for the mill. The hourly rate of pay for this position is $35.83. Daily Job Duties: Bench bands & circle saw blades. Sharpen saws and knives using sharpening machine. Maintain saw lube. Change saws and knives in the mill. Be proficient in knife grinding & guide repair. Be proficient in repairing bands & circle saws. Be able to train 1 & 2 levels. Clean up work areas. Replace worn saw teeth in saws. Follow all applicable safety rules. Work regularly scheduled shifts. Work scheduled overtime – as required. Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

• Proficient in math
