THE WORK The Systems Engineering Manager will lead the Trident program's Field Engineering team in Kings Bay, GA, in support of the TRIDENT Navigation Special Weapons System (SWS) Field Engineering Staff at Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay. This position includes overseeing site staffing and performance, reporting site status to functional and programmatic leadership, interfacing with customer, and supporting end users in the field. This role oversees a small team with significant responsibility, and therefore having significant experience with FBM Strategic Navigation and experience at forward SSBN sites is required. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • Applicable technical experience, such as: Experience with FBM Strategic Navigation Experience at forward SSBN sites
  • Demonstrated experience leading a team
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Comfortable with communicating in a variety of forums including as team lead, customer reviews, etc.
  • Must be a US citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as an L-coded manager.
  • Active Secret/Top Secret clearance; ability to attain Top Secret clearance.
