About The Position

We are seeking a Field Support Engineer to join our team in Phoenix. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of work experience in IT support. The position is for independent contractors. The ideal candidate will have a focused skill set in troubleshooting, technical support, and proficiency in Windows operating systems.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in field support, with a strong focus on IT services.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues across various IT infrastructure components.
  • Hands-on experience in providing technical support for desktops, networks, and data center technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and proficiency in navigating and resolving issues within them.
  • Ability to work independently and manage freelance or contract assignments efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members across various regions.
  • Must have skills include the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and environments, ensuring seamless client service.
  • Flexibility in working across different time zones, understanding the global nature of the business operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site technical support, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction across assigned locations.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring minimal downtime for client operations.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to implement solutions and improve IT service quality across the enterprise.
  • Manage and document technical processes, ensuring accurate records of service requests and resolutions.
  • Conduct regular system health checks and proactive maintenance to prevent potential IT disruptions.
  • Liaise with various teams within EIL Global to ensure effective project delivery and service enhancement.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in IT support technologies and methodologies to recommend improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with the company's IT policies and procedures while delivering solutions tailored to client needs.
